There was sewage coming up out of the grounds in the wooded area where the sewer pipes are located. The sinkhole is probably from the outdated damaged sewer lines. I think the reason they are not cleaning up the wooded area is because there is a bigger issue. The building is already sinking from the unstable ground. If you remove trees then the sinkhole would expand or the grounds around it would collapse. The building would probably fall into it if any tress were removed! Sounds logical to me and since no one will give answers I'm going with that theory.
